From our humble beginnings building out the taproom in Avon and brewing our first batches on a 5-barrel system, to the community we’ve built today — these 8 years have been unforgettable. What started as a small dream has become a place where friendships are formed, stories are shared, and connections are made over great beer.

We can’t think of a better way to celebrate than with you. Join us on Saturday, August 8th as we mark 8 years with good friends, great beer, and plenty of good vibes.

Event Schedule

11:00 AM — Brewery opens to the public
12:30 PM — VIP Experience begins (Bay #2)
2:00 PM — VIP ends / General Admission opens
2:00 PM – 7:00 PM — Full celebration (outside + Bay #2 open to all)

Light food (burgers, dogs, etc.) will be available for purchase starting during the VIP session and continuing through the afternoon

VIP Experience – Limited to 50 Guests

$75 per ticket • On sale Thursday, July 16th @ 4:00PM at our Avon & Buffalo taprooms only (2 tickets per person max, non-transferable)

This intimate pre-party session gives you exclusive early access and special experiences with the brewers before the main celebration begins.

Your VIP Ticket Includes:

Entry into the exclusive VIP portion starting at 12:30 PM
Pours from the Cellar — Dave, Paul, and Josh will pull rare and specialty beers from their personal cellars for an intimate tasting session. Expect a wide variety of barrel-aged stouts and one-off rarities served across multiple stations with direct conversation and stories from the brewers.
Pours from the Barrel — Fresh samples (1–2 oz each) pulled from 2–3 specially selected barrels aging in our warehouse — beers that haven’t been released to the public yet. Enjoy behind-the-scenes discussion on barrel selection, adjuncts, and blending.
First right of refusal to purchase one bottle of BA Leto and one bottle of the BA Leto variant
One 5 oz taster pour of Leto + one 5 oz taster pour of Leto Variant
4 drink tickets for 5 oz pours during the public portion of the event

VIP tickets are extremely limited and expected to sell out quickly.

Important note on "Pours from the Cellar": Our brewers have an incredible collection of vintage bottles, barrel-aged stouts, and one-off rarities — many of which exist in extremely limited quantities (often just one or two bottles). Because of this, it won’t be possible for every guest to receive a pour of every beer. Instead, the brewers will set up at multiple pouring stations, actively sharing stories and details about the beers they’re pouring. You’ll have the opportunity to taste a wide variety of exceptional, hard-to-find beers while enjoying direct conversation with the people who made them. This is designed to be a dynamic, personal experience focused on quality, discovery, and connection — not a checklist of specific beers to be "Ticked". While we can’t guarantee any particular bottle, you will get to enjoy several rare pours and the kind of behind-the-scenes access that makes these events special. We’re confident that true fans of Mortalis will love this format. Transparency is important to us, so we want to be upfront: this is about experiencing a broad range of cellar treasures with the brewers themselves.

Join the full anniversary celebration! The brewery grounds and Bay #2 will be open with:

Guest taps from 15–20 of our close friends and collaborating breweries (set up outside with tents in the parking lot and patio)
Mortalis core beers, special releases, and BA Leto on draft
A-la-carte pour ticket system. 1 ticket purchased = 1 Five Ounce Pour
Music, yard games, and festivities
Food available for purchase (burgers, dogs, and grill items prepared in-house)
